Systema periodicum elementorum chemicorum, vel periodicum elementorum systema, vel tantum systema periodicum, est tabularis elementorum chemicorum ostentatio. Quamquam praecursores huius tabulae exstant, ea latissime habetur inventum Demetrii Mendeleev, chemici Russici, anno 1869 factum, qui voluit inlustrare constantes periodicasque proprietatum elementorum mutationes. Dispositio tabulae expolita et aucta est, quia elementa nova reperta sunt, et nova theoriae exemplaria excogitata sunt ut mores chemicos explicentur.[1]
